Before watching the movie, we decided to try the chicken at Gilson Korean restaurant. The golden, saucy chicken and the seafood tofu soup were so delicious! We didn’t realize the portions would be so big, totally worth it for the leftovers. The server was very nice, and even though he was the only one working, he was quick and easy to communicate with. The place has a great vibe, and we were glad to get a non-KBBQ table, so we didn’t leave smelling like food. We loved it, such a great find! I forgot to capture everything we try to rush for only one hour before we watch a movie.
Food was great with generous portions, and the service was excellent! When a menu item I requested wasn’t available, they were honest about it and offered great alternatives
I went there one night with my friend Susan and I have to say, the bossam was exquisitely Korean and was incredibly delicious! We also ordered Korean stew and galbi and they were all very good. I’ve had other Korean foods in lynwood area, but they’re not that great, it doesn’t have the Korean authentic flavor and so glad I went there and had a great time, we even tipped alot for the great food! I highly recommend bossam though
Small and cozy dining area. We had seafood pancake, seafood soup with clear broth, and fish soup with red broth. The waitress helped us order
I enjoyed out time here. The pork belly was good. The short ribs very good but the real winner was the outside skirt steak. Amazing! I liked the golden fried chicken wings better than the spicy ones. The bimbimbop needed more flavor. The complimentary soup was fishy and fermented and so delicious. We left very full.
This place has the best Bossam I have ever had in North America. The meat is cooked to perfect tenderness, coupled with good kimchi and soil bean paste yummy! The fried chicken wings was also battered very deliciously. Overall, great food. Only small complaint I had would be they only had one server, he was so busy it was hard to get his attention sometimes but he was very polite and courteous. Great experience overall.
Ordered the soft tofu soup with kimchi, spicy seafood soup, and the half and half wings. Portions were big and all the food was delicious!! Really hit the spot on a rainy day. Also, our servers were very nice and gave excellent suggestions based on our tastes. We arrived at opening for dinner at 5pm and it was quite busy by 6pm on a Saturday. Added to my list of local favorites!
